StarCraft 2 Replays

Everyone can play starcraft 2 replays with this tutorial

How to watch Starcraft 2 replays since patch 10?

StarCrack Allin1 is an automated tool that makes possible for you to play sc2 beta offline, without cd-keys etc, load match in skirmish battles, and watch replays.

Patch 10 Fully compatible! (includes starcrack (or AKA StarCrafty) A.I 7.0.3 patch 10 compatible!)

How to Access the Full Game Menu

Using an MPQ archiver (http://shadowflare.samods.org/), (http://www.zezula.net/mpq.html) you can access the full game menu by following the steps below:

  1. Browse to the directory „C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft II Beta”
  2. Create a folder called „SWF” and another inside of it called „Authentication”.
  3. Open „StarCraft II Beta\Battle.net\Battle.net.MPQ” with the MPQ archiver.
  4. Extract „Battle.net\SWF\MainUI.gfx” to the same folder that the MPQ is in.
  5. Close the MPQ archiver and rename „MainUI.gfx” to „authentication.gfx”.
  6. Put „authentication.gfx” inside the SWF\Authentication folder and run „Starcraft II.exe”.
  7. Note: The resulting file should be in „StarCraft II Beta\Battle.net\SWF\Authentication\authentication.gfx”.

Or just download the modified Battle.net directory here: *authentication.gfx (4236)

Where to put replay files

Download replay files: Starcraft 2 Replays
Replay locations changed in phase two – here are the new ones for Vista/XP:

For Vista/Win7 (I think):
C:\Users\REALIDREMOVED>:D\Documents\StarCraft II Beta\Replays\Multiplayer

For XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\YourNameHere\My documents\StarCraft II Beta\Accounts\YourAccountHere (keep clicking, lots of sub folders) then create a Multiplayer Folder next to the Unsaved one.

Importing SC2 Cache Files

Download files here > http://www.sc2win.com/starcraft-2-downloads/starcraft-2-cache-files-update/

On Windows 7/Vista place them into the directory: C:\Users\Your_Username\AppData\Local\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Cache

On Windows XP place them into C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Cache

You can now play the replay files from the main menu.

I’d come to agree with you on this. Which is not something I usually do! I enjoy reading a post that will make people think. Also, thanks for allowing me to speak my mind!

    Hey Dru,

I’m having the exact same issue with replays. I tried cleaning out the map and cache folder and importing all the maps again with a fresh cache. I read all this stuff about how the replay map needs to be in the cache folder, but nothing is working.

I can play the game fine without issues, but i cannot watch any replays. Whether it be beta or sc2allin1.

  • dru

ok, in the Cache directory (C:\Users\local_user\AppData\Local\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net\Cache) there is a folder called “Download”. when you play a map through the all-in-1 launcher, that map is copied into that directory. then, when you try to load the replay from all-in-1…CRASH!

    with this error:
    ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005)
occurred at 0023:00CDDA33. The memory at ’0x0000010B’ could not be read.

not sure where to go from here

  • dru

i can load replays that were created from the beta but not from the all-in-1 launcher. SC throws this error “Unable to open map”. i have the latest patch and all the maps.

  • ryan

authentication.gfx not working on patch 9

  • Anonymous

Bypass doesn’t work anymore in Patch 9 as of this writing. I just used the authentication.gfx link provided above.

  • Gust

Anyone knows why it works perfectly for me except for one map – Deser Oasis?

  • Myself

Thanks a lot for providing this guide and keeping the (cache-) files updated!

I am having the hidden folder problem. Is it the same for the Vista? Is it the same steps like what Copmuter said? I am using a XP.

    Hidden folder

  • Copmuter

    @ sirus

Had the same problem and I solved it by going to

    C:\Users\Your_Username\

then typing : appdata after the \

    making it:

    C:\Users\Your_Username\AppData

then I could go on, dont kow if its hidden or somthing… Im a noob but it worked… so care :-9

    /Cop
